Our Story
JGD Memorial Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization formed in memory of the late John G. DeSimone, who suffered a heart attack at the age of 45. John was a hard working individual, who’s favorite way to spend his free time was to be with anybody who was interested in sharing a good conversation and a good laugh. The JGD Memorial Foundation’s purpose is to gather people together for a day of leisure and socialization, while raising funds for organizations and communities that reflect the life he lived.
Partnered with The BASE Organization, a non-profit dedicated to giving student athletes a community to not only engage in sport, but to develop life skills in a culture of excellence, love, and belief. John volunteered much of his free time coaching youth baseball, providing support and guidance to kids who wanted to better themselves on and off the field.
